Problem Statement: Increasing unemployment and lower wages especially for the less educated people in the country is a big problem.

Pitch: We can divide our society into two class of people, one who are previliged enough to get good schooling and professional degrees and are either able to get good jobs or learn another online skill to start freelancing or any startup but second class are of those who couldn’t get good schooling and now the only option they have is to do tough labouring jobs at very low wages. I want to create opportunities for this second class of people by creating small businesses.

Solution (Plan of Action):

Step 1: Understand the business models of small hawkers having stalls selling French Fries , Samosa, Golaganda, Burger, Kachori.

Step 2: Find places to start such small stalls (most big shops in Karachi give a small space in from of their shops to people for setting up small stalls and provide them electricity line in return of some fixed daily amount). So, our team have to talk to big shop owners who are willing to give this small space.

Step 3: Find people who are hardworking and help them setup the stalls to start their business, this will need approximate investment of 30–40K. This investment can be done by the person doing the business, if he isn’t able to arrange the amount it can be invested by any of the relative of that person or anyone else who will get a small percentage of daily profit, according to me people will likely invest in it because we will show them the entire business model and documented profit percentage which will build a sense of trust and also the investment of 30–40K is very less. Moreover, people will have a feeling of empathy and pleasure because they are helping a needy person start his business.

Our team would also be taking a percentage of daily profit for the businesses as we won’t be running an NGO but an entrepreneural setting that is helping people to get earning opportunities instead of waiting for a 9–5 tough job and increase their standard of living.
